Straight from our hives on the Fleurieu Peninsula, this 1kg pail of raw honey is packed with the flavours of the season. Depending on what’s flowering, you might taste hints of mallee, blue gum, cup gum, or pink gum, each batch is a little different. It’s 100% pure, unprocessed honey, just as the bees made it. Nothing added, nothing taken away, just real, raw goodness.

Love the product and the price is good too. but it is rather spoilt by the delivery cost of $15 which seem excessive for what is after all a local destination.

We completely understand your thoughts on the shipping cost. Unfortunately, freight prices are largely set by the courier, and at $15 we're only charging what it costs us to send the order. We do offer free shipping on orders over $75, which many of our customers take advantage of to get the best value.

Why is there black sediment all through the honey? It doesn’t change the flavour but I would like to know what it is please?

As our honey is 100% raw and only lightly filtered, it's completely normal to occasionally find small amounts of natural sediment such as beeswax, pollen or tiny propolis particles. These are a natural part of raw honey and don't affect the quality, flavour or safety of the product.

Interesting to compare supermarket honey with this one.
Same by weight but different in volume. What are they mixing in the supermarket product ? It has more volume for same weight!

Honey naturally varies in density depending on moisture content, floral source and how it's processed. Our honey is raw and minimally processed, so it can look quite different from many supermarket honeys. We're glad you noticed the difference and enjoyed the real thing!
